Steaks meet good and fresh. Like this shop. Never had a proplems.

I find their meat to be very good. We buy meat there all the the time. I have NEVER found it to be dirty. It's always very clean, employees are helpful, prices reasonable for what you get, very tasty meals.

This meat shop is gross. The Floor are always filthy, it like they just mop dirt over dirt. The floors were gross enough to make me leave. I have been back about 4 or 5 times and the floors are worse every time especially around the bump stops around the floor coolers Disgusting!. Makes a guy wonder about behind the counter Good GoD? This Fact alone give it thumbs down.

I know three people who have worked there and not one of them would ever buy their own meat there, not even with a discount. Try Smokehaus Meats in Martensville.

I have been shopping at P.meats for years. I always get great meat and top notch service. If you want a variety, this place blows Costco away.

The customer service is terrible...I work for a company that is rated the 10th biggest in all of Canada and was doing a fundraiser and was treated terrible...now I just tell my story and take my business elsewhere...I will shop at places that appreciate my business.

Be very cautious, especially with the sausages. I don't know what that festering green mass in the middle of the product was, but NEVER AGAIN will I eat Prairie products.

I bought a box of ground chicken at Prairie Meats. I made a point to ask what it was ground from and I was told chicken breasts only. I was thrilled! However, when I got home and made a meal out of it I was very disappointed. It tasted awful, like chicken skin and fat. I am quite sure that it was FULL of skin. Next time I buy ground chicken I will be asking what the ratio of skin to meat is. I ended up throwing away the other 4 pounds in the 5 pound box because it was absolutely awful.

To Chewy, I had the same problem exactly at the College Park store. I was also over charged ($20) and never got my money back. I was from out of town and sent them the receipt and stickers on the boxes, and nothing. Even after 2nd request still nothing. Very bad customer service in my view.

For those of you who have had issues, are you aware of their money back guarantee? As with any business, there are sometimes issues. If you do not make them aware, then the problem will never get fixed. Likewise, by not returning your product and merely writing comments on this board, your problem will continue and you will remain unhappy. I have always found their customer service and return policy to be top notch. Take advantage of it! Somtimes mistakes happen! I was at the grocery store last week and a totally sealed jar of BICKS pickles was moldy. Point? Every business\ makes mistakes. It's called human error and it will always be there. At least Prairie Meats will do whatever it takes so that you walk out of the store with a smile on your face. There aren't to many other stores where you recieve that level of customer service anymore.

Not that impressed. I went to the College Park location and was over charged. I never did get my money back ($20). The box of NY steaks were freezer burned. The box of T-bones were good as was the box of fillet mignons. My family spends good money there and I do expect a good product.

I used to do 100% of my meat shopping at Prairie Meats and have been a loyal customer for many years. In the past year I have noticed the quality of the lean ground beef getting worse and worse and the last time I bought it, it was full of fillers that could be easily seen and I was astonished at the amount of fat that came from the meat when I cooked it. I also recently learned that Prairie Meats also uses hydogenation in ALL of their products. In this day and age of trying to maintain a healthy lifestyle this is not what I want when I buy food to feed myself and my family. If and when they ever do get up to the 21st century and can prove that they put no hydrogenation in their products I will probably become a loyal customer once again but until then, I must bid them farwell!

Great meat outstanding quality not good place to work very cheap and treats employers poorly
