Good food but not worth waiting for with the poor service.

The best ceasar salad in the city. It is has a lot of garlic though, so if you don't love garlic, you won't like it. The Grilled Chicken and Baked Brie on Ciabatta is amazing. The service has always been good, and I like their wine list. I have stopped going to Earls though since they added the ostrich heads in the lounge. Especially when I heard the owner only did it for publicity. It is quite cruel and disgusting.

Rude, incompetent staff, over priced lacklustre food, and creepy, tacky decor (seriously, severed ostrich heads? Who thought that up?)
I will not be returning to Earl's.

I love Earl's, everytime I go they are always busy and the staff are always friendly.

Was there this past Saturday with a large group of people intent on having a good time. This was stifled by the fact that we were not able to make a reservation when we tried 3 days earlier. We were told on the phone at that time that the wait time would be minimal. However, on arriving, we were told that it would be 2 hours, and were forced to wait for 3. We spent that time in the lounge, where for a good portion of that time, we were forced to stand and fend for ourselves for drinks at the bar until we eventually managed to get a booth (which required us to very impolitely hover next to some people as they paid their bill - more the rudeness of other patrons than the fault of the staff). While seated, the waitress repeatedly forgot drinks for our table, and the first time we asked for an appetizer menu, told us that instead she would go check on the status of our table, then returned without a menu or any information about our table. When finally we were offered a table in the restaurant, the waitress told us we had to settle our current tab. We asked if we could transfer the bill to the restaurant and were told that No, we could not.

The first question that our new waitress asked us when we sat down was whether our bill was being transferred from the lounge. At this point, the experience improved to a level that I would call acceptable, but by no means exceptional. The mood of the group had lost a good deal of its enthusiasm at that point and I'm quite sure that none of us spend the amount that we had budgeted for the evening.

Were it not for the fact that we were waiting on some later arrivals, we definitely would have left and found a new venue, and I certainly won't be returning any time soon.
