Service is really great, but the food is pretty boring. I wouldn't go back.

One of the best restaurants in Saskatoon by far! If you want REAL food, actually prepared by trained chefs, not the pre-made, defrosted junk that you get in most chain restaurants, then go to Truffles Bistro! They are downtown now, on 21st street between 2nd and 3rd avenue. Prices have gone up a bit, but are still reasonable considering the quality products they use. Our service has been fantastic every time.

Have eaten at Truffles twice. Once with my former boss at lunch time, and once to celebrate my anniversary with my wife. Both times the food was amazing, and the service was equally as good. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants, and we should make a point of going back more often.

Also worth noting is the red wine was perfectly tempered, and the waitress was a lot of fun and very playful. Definitely some of the best food in Saskatoon!

Extremely POOR and RUDE service. Came in for dessert, was seated and then told by a rude server that we were taking up space at the restaurant because they do not serve dessert tables until 830 p.m.

I was so disgusted by the service. The owners should be ashamed at themselves for encouraging and training their staff to treat customers like crap.

Lunch on March 25, 2008. Had roasted veg soup and Ruebin sandwich. Soup was outstanding, sandwich was good and service was impeccable.

Will go again.

The food was incredible but the service was lousy, especially from the hostess/manager who was quite rude to us when we showed up with no reservations and there was no room available. She acted very pretentious and we had to ask explicitly how long the wait may be for a table. We were able to get a table in a half hour and were fine to leave and wander around for a bit. However, we almost didn't come back because we were so upset by her rude behavious. But when we did, the food was some of the best we've had in the city. Hopefully the service improves to a level that complements the food!

I am glad to state they are moving!Chef lee helman and son Julian(sask junior chef champ)assured us the same grest quality and service will continue at there new local. My only disapointment is i cannot go for supper now. I however am sure it will most definately be worth the wait.

We were disgusted to discover rotten/sour whipped cream in our drinks. We were given an apology and told it would be looked into. We were pretty incensed to see that the issue had not been taken care of on the bill. When we raised this issue at the till, we were told that one of the kitchen staff said it tasted rotten, and the other said it tasted normal. In any case, a new batch was made, so they couldn't tell for sure.

We had to actually state explicitly that we should not have to pay for an item that could possibly make us ill. The server did not re-apologize and just said he would take it off the bill and then when he did, he only took one of the three drinks off. Again, an awkward situation that should have been handled with ease, was made extremely uncomfortable as we had to point out that the rotten cream was in all drinks.

Has anyone else encountered poor service at Truffles? And is it common practice now for dining establishments to not be accountable for quality control issues? It's a shame because the entrees and desserts at Truffles were amazing, but due to the distressingly bad service, I can say for sure that I won't be returning for a repeat experience.

My husband and I joined his folks there for supper on Tuesday, August 22, 2006, and it was the most enjoyable discovery of a Saskatoon restaurant that my husband and I have made in quite some time. We both enjoy quality food, exciting presentation, and exceptional customer service - all of which you will receive at Truffles. Do not let the quaint size of the bistro fool you, that is what adds to the experience. Server Jason is highly recommended, and so is the wine list. We will definitely go back to sample the rest of the menu during breakfast and lunch.

(advertising for the restaurant would be somewhat beneficial as we forgot all about this place since it's opening it was only for the Saskatoon StarPhoenix centennial neighbourhood feature of Brevoort Park that we remembered about it, and yes, West side residents do travel to the other side of the city.

I ate at truffles bistro and i would recommend any one to go there! The food was great and service was excellent! The Skor Cheesecake was my favorite! i give it two thumbs up!

This is certainly one of the best restaurants in Saskatoon. Few places can rival this classy place.

I ate at Truffles Bistros this evening on the recommendation of a friend. It was the most wonderful meal I have had in Saskatoon. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgable. The food was fabulous. I would recommend this place. You get the best presentation of your meal.
